About:
There was some discussion recently about dynamically generated logon
scripts on the samba mailing list and this got me to thinking. I
initially hit Freshmeat to see what else existed and only found one
that was worthwhile called ntlogon.py created by Timothy Grant
(tjg@exceptionalminds.com).
I am not a fan of Python myself and do not install it on production
servers thus I felt the need to have something flexible written in
perl using an XML based configuration file. This is the end result.
